Walk there! Publicity Campaign
I would love to see a publicity campaign run in our city that promotes walking as a means of transportation. Most of the neighbourhoods in Barrie support some walking venues within 1 km of people's homes. It would be fantastic to see more people walking to the store, the hair salon, the movies, afterschool and evening activities, their friends' houses, the restaurant where they will entertain clients, the library, the liquor store...anywhere and everywhere!
