Scavenger Hunt \ Learning the Different Recycle Systems Throughout our city
Our focus is on the children of the city of London because they are our future. I propose a scavenger hunt but a little different. Choose a park (Victoria Park is central. Pick 10 places or more or less. Have local artists use chalk to draw a picture on the side walk to advertise a certain place that we have fun at ! Example: A picture that describes Storybook Gardens, East Park, Labatt Park. For each picture you would then turn around and get on a bus saving gas!! to the following location. Once their you would be given a paper and be asked to write down different ways you can come up with to recycle in the park. Then you would find out exactly what they do to recycle in the park. Sharing your recycle suggestions with the park. In trying to improve things maybe the companys could offer the participant A voucher for free entry or half off entry. That way everyone wins. They would then return to Victoria Park. For there next clue. This would help our children become better involved with recycling program, learn new ways to recycle things, Offer excellant suggestions to the companys, and recieve a little token from each company. Hold awards for the best ideas, Gift bags for the rest.
