Car Pooling / Commuting Community Drives
I would organize yearly or bi-yearly residential communitiy drives to provide people in the communities an opportunity to physically meet, gather, network, discuss & create opportunities, organize themselves, and sign up for car pooling / commuting from their community to main work areas such as downtown. Sort of like the Stampede Community Breakfasts many communities offer during Stampede time, but for the purpose of joining forces to reduce gas emissions, make our city greener, and help out each other.
