Cleaner, greener, downtown
I live in Downtown Ottawa and I am peeved by the amount of garbage all over the streets. There are intermittent garbage cans, but there are no recycle bins for tourists and Ottawa residents walking around the downtown core. When I am out walking, I see not only garbage, but dog poop all over the side walks. I would love to see recycle bins attached to garbage cans and a place to put dog poop, which is easy and convenient for tourists as well as residents. When people see the recycle bins they will use them and hopefully they will also use the dog poop bins instead of allowing their pets to poop where thousands of people walk.
