Recycled rubber from old tires
I have always thought that it was terrible that no one does anything with used tires, why can't we use them for sidewalks, paths in parks, driveways - even make parking blocks in car lots. I think they could be formed into planters to beautify the city streets and it could have colors like the patio blocks. It is easily chipped and reformed, even our streets/ highways could be paved or at least the intersections where there is repeat stopping and wear to the road. It is already being used for patio blocks that look great! It has to be a project the gov't takes up, with support and cooperation of citizens. I would gladly donate mine to this worthy project!
