Increase greenspace
Have big box stores contribute their excess or end of season greenery & eatable plants to community groups so that they can be planted around the city rather than thrown into landfills. Remove grass & install ground cover to reduce the use of mowing. Plant nuts or fruit trees to help sustain the homeless.
