Universally Acceptable Cycling Environment
My idea for a healthier environment would be for all levels of government to provide an all encompassing plan to allow cycling to be acceptable across the country. This would include the inclusion of a minimum 1.0 metre paved shoulder on all road construction projects, amendments to the highway traffic act to require motorists to provide 1.0 metre clear space when passing cyclists as well as Canada wide promotion of safe cycling etiquette to both motorists and cyclists.
