Sidewalk Compost
Compost is becoming increasing valuable in cities all over the world. I think a smart idea would to be install separate compost receptacles beside regular garbage bins! Fuel is already being used to collect garbage, why not do some carbon offsetting and start Sidewalk Compost? Can you imagine the enormous benefits of a program like this in a city like Vancouver or Toronto? We need constant fresh ideas when it comes to sustainability, and if we make it easy for people to do their part, the more success we will all have!!
