Eco-Media Production Company that
Hi Smart Canada!
My name is Jessica Jennings and I'm a producer with passion on a mission to inspire, transform minds and change the world around me – one story and project at a time.
The media is the most powerful entity on earth with the influence to shape the minds of today and that of future generations. Knowing this, my philosophy is to create progressive and environmentally-conscious edutainment that warms the soul, opens the mind and moves people to create lasting, positive change in our world.
I recently worked on the award-winning documentary "Revolution" by Sharkwater director Rob Stewart, which was about informing the world about the major treats facing our planet and urging a revolution to save humanity.

My goal is to launch a new production company that specializes in eco-media services and content creation.
Firstly, I would offer services to businesses in Toronto to help them communicate their green messages and sustainable products to their market. There are many incentives for businesses to be more sustainable, so I want to tap into this market and help businesses shoot their promotional videos for their company and products. I would only work with green companies, or with companies who are trying to become more green and want their customers to know their new sustainable strategies.
Secondly, I would (and currently do) create content with an environmentally-conscious agenda. ie: I have a TV series in development about going green in fashion and beauty, and one about being freegan and finding cheap and green ways to reuse and recycle.
In addition, I may also have an opportunity to run an International Eco-Film Competition in Toronto that encourages filmmakers to create films about the environment to spread awareness.
As previously mentioned, the media is a powerful educational tool and through education can we create a healthier environment. It all starts with being aware and conscious about each decision you make and how you spend every dollar. So by creating content that helps businesses in Toronto become more sustainable and green, and audiences more informed, then I believe this is one of the first steps to creating a healthier environment.
The $50,000 would be very helpful in the stat-up costs of this business venture.
Thank you so much for the consideration.
With green gratitude,
Jessica Jennings
