Greenroof for next low income housing project
First I have to give you a bit of history I am involved in a non profit organisation that creates projects to help low income families find affordable living situations these are primarily for handicaped , single parent families and people in need . I am also involved in a project that created one of montreals largest green roofs . Last year we were able to complete a project in Lachine that was very helpful for the community my idea would be to create our next complex with a green roof access where the tenants could actually grow their own vegetables it would allow for better living healthy concept for people that are single and also older and lonely tenants could benefit from having a beautiful place to go and relax . 1 help the environment 2 help people 3 healthy eating alternative These are all very good reasons to make this project happen.
