Converting Street Lights to LED will save 50 to 70% on energy cost and reduce carbon footprint. Will also provide healthier and safer lighting

There is no Mercury in LEDs. There is however mercury in Mercury Vapor lights and Florescent. These are sometimes used for street lights.

You know there's mercury in LED lights and thats not a smart alternative when there's storms and those poles get knocked over?
