Carpooling or Improved Public Transit
A good smart city project idea would be to improve public transit in the City of Toronto, or have a car-sharing or bike-sharing service[like Bixi, but a bit better] so that we could share rides and reduce emissions. Another good smart city project idea would be to have community gardens so that people could grow food free of charge, and save on transporting food from places like California as well as grocery money.
