Public service vehicles
Our City's police force and Public works departments have several large gas guzzling vehicles as I am sure many other communities do. It would be great to see Smart cars in the fleet to reduce energy and maintenance costs and give the City of Timmins a "Greener" looking Police force and public works departments. After all it's not the size of the car that matters when heading towards a crime scene or pulling over a traffic offender. A supervisor heading over to a work site or even the local meter maids could put them to good use too!
