Distribution of Cool Ties
To get kids and adults outdoors, active and staying cool at home, school and the workplace, I would develop a coupon system where Cool Ties are distributed through community doctors, hospitals, schools and pharmacies.
Cool Ties are awesome. I make them myself. They are a cotton tube filled with polymer crystals that absorb water. When soaked in cool water for 10 to 15 minutes, they expand and stay that way for a few days. The cotton dries but the cool tie is hung around a person's or pet's neck and it helps to reduce the body temperature.
People (and pets) then require less air conditioning, spend greater amounts of time outdoors and/or active because their bodies are cooler.
In Canada, it would be great to hire Canadians to make the Cool Ties...offering jobs to fellow Canadians and make Canadian's "Cool" at the same time.
