Dump Fees and passes
there are those times when you have those oddball things you want to get rid of. Our local dump has a minimum $15 charge which frankly discourages people. Thus the items we see in the woods and along the roadsides. They need to get rid of the minimum charges at dump sites. At our dump they have a recycle bin which is free. A metal bin which you have to pay for and yard waste that you pay for which you should not have to and garbage which you pay for. Metal they can get money for so why the charge? Yard waste they compost so why the charge. I also think our Town should set up a buy and sell web page along with a give away free page so people get get rid if things they no longer want that may be if use to others.
