UAlberta Conservation Team
Train university students in basic energy efficiency and water conservation skills and then pair students with interested community leagues in Edmonton, Alberta. Community leagues would profile program with residents. Pairs of students wound conduct home visits helping homeowners with information and installation of devices that reduce their environmental footprint and save money (e.g., low flow shower heads, programmable thermostats). Local utility company Epcor could cover cost of devices.
