Residential Rainwater Harvesting
The demand for water is expected to increase up to 40% by the year 2020. Cities all over the world are already at the maximum available water supply. Residential Rainwater Harvesting can reduce that demand by between 50 - 70%. Hundreds of thousands of families in developed countries around the world use rainwater as a supplemental water supply. This practice is being slow to develop in North America for no good reason other than heads buried in the sand. This needs to change. Every new home that is built should be required to have a RWH system. This can also retain stormwater to reduce flooding. Let's us use and preserve what the earth gives us.
