Community Challenge
Community Challenge would be a program run by youth where children in different neighbourhoods meet up two times a month and take on an environmentally friendly challenge. The challenges would consist of planting ten trees in the neighbourhood park or going on a hike and identifying certain species. It can also be picking up litter or going door-to-door raising awareness about different environmental issues in the world today. Children need a source of inspiration and connection to the environment and a team of youth completing challenges is a simple and effective way to get young kids away from electronics and indoors and encourage them to learn about the natural world.
