I would love to see a safe walking/bike path from my small town (Norval, ON) into Georgetown ON. The only way to walk the 2 kilometers is beside a main highway which is dangerous as there are no sidewalks. The speed the road is travelled makes it a life threatening situation if you attempt to walk on the shoulder. I dream of a safe path to walk my dog. Other improvements to our town could include a highway bypass, speed deterrents, and a pedestrian bridge over the highway for safety. To beautify the town, the use of cobblestones, rustic street signs, etc. would all improve the historic aspect of the area. Only a few small improvements would go a long way - this town is worth it! We have history, a river, and large trees – it is beautiful.
