Co-op garden program
With 50,000 I would implement a community garden program. This would be implemented in buildings in Toronto. Each building chosen would have a co-op garden with fresh vegetables, fruits, even in some cases chickens to produce eggs. This garden will be maintained by the residents of the building. By having this program people are encouraged to make eco friendly choices and take pride in growing their own crops. Also this is a great role model program for children to learn while their young how to plant vegetables and fruits and harvest them. The 50,000 would go towards the supplies needed for each garden and to create this space outdoors (AV_tor).
