smart should prepare a DEVELOPMENT & POLICY PR Packages for charging installations in new Condos (for Developers) and development policies (for Planning Authorities) to require a percentage of all new carparks in Condo development to be provided with charging installations. Here are some details: 1) DEVELOPMENT PR pkg for Developers- Objective make the provision of charging stations (esp. in condos) sexy to attract new buyers to progressive E-Lifestyle Projects highlighting energy savings, lifestyle, and government/corporate incentives (rebates, discounts) and sexy eco-brand potential for Developers & their Designers. The package can be sent to local and international developers to promote sustainable development and smart vehicles. 2) POLICY PR pkg Local/Prov/National Government Development Control Authorities- A PR package should be prepared to convince Development Control planners and governments to enact development requirements to realize their electric vehicle usage intentions. In 5 years (typical time from planning submission to occupancy) does the authority want 2% of approved vehicle parking or 10% of vehicles to be electric? Their required number of charging installations requirements should be enacted accordingly. As an Architect (on HK Disney/Beijing Olympics) and Urban Planner (for government of Singapore) I can take these PR packages to top developers and planning authorities in Canada/HK/Singapore to promote smart policies and developments.
