Urban Farm
I would use the $50,000 to develop an urban farm project that could be utilized by the local food bank to teach people to grow, preserve and cook healthy food. Part of the urban farm would include fruit trees and berry bushes. I would also include a bee hive on the urban farm to foster a healthy bee population in our city as bees have been dwindling in North America. I would also encourage the city to plant fruit trees and berry bushes throughout the city so that all residents could enjoy some healthy food when in season.
