Fix The Potholes in Prince George
This idea is specifically about transportation. The city where I was born and raised, Prince George BC, has some of the worst potholes in Canada. Check out this Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/princegeorgepotholes. My idea is only to spend that $50,000 fixing as many of those potholes as possible. This may not be the most interesting idea around, but it's a serious problem for the community in Prince George, and there is always a battle about adequate resources to take action. Furthermore I think it's especially appropriate for an initiative sponsored by Smart since some of these potholes would actually be prohibitive to driving a Smart Car in PG, and this is not an exaggeration. What better way to smarten up the city than to open it up to Smar Cars by repairing the roads?
