arrival and bus information live for buses
I saw this in sweden where the major bus stops had signs that showed live information as to which bus would be next to arrive and in how many minutes. People seem to have a hard time reading schedules and to encourage use of buses this type of system would work best where each bus had a GPS so the bus location and its arrival at the next stop would be accurately be predictible. In a small town like Penticton it could boost bus usage a lot and be less expensive to implement as a test for other cities.
