I am a smoker and I find that ashtrays are not easily accessible outdoors for people to butt out. I would like to see an attached cigarette disposable bin.

I would like to see biodegradable water bottles as oppose to plastic bottles. Plastic bottles in my opinion are a huge waste and number one pollutant. If we can somehow make water bottles biodegradable, we can leave a greater ecological footprint.

I would like to see more solar lights outside that are operated by solar energy. On campus the lights outdoors are always on, so why not have solar panels on the outdoor lights to conserve the amount of energy used.

I would love to see composting introduced to the public in my school community. Right now recycling bins are available but no composting bins. I would like to attach composting bins to every garbage bin to promote the use of composting. Once people compost, the school community can use the food to make soil to therefore reuse for agriculture in our school community.

I notice that on my university campus there aren't accessible garbage bins located in high traffic areas throughout the university. Even in some huge lecture halls there isn't proper garbage bins. I would like to see my university have easier accessible garbage bins. In this way people are more likely to recycle properly.

I would like to see solar panels set up around campus to plug in electronic devices instead of using the power outlets. This would help conserve energy that students use on a daily basis to plug up laptops, iPads, cellphones, etc.

I would like to see 50,000 put towards a student run tree club. In my neighborhood greenery and trees in particular are lacking. I would like to see student run tree clubs in my area being funded.

I would like to see biodegradable tableware implemented, that are made from leaves. This ways we are reusing natures natural resources.

I am a huge coffee drinker and I think a great idea would be to have biodegradable coffee cups. So many people drink coffee on the go, why not make cups that are biodegradable instead of harmful paper cups that will just be waste.

The children at Mono Amaranth Public School would like to have an outdoor classroom. We feel an outdoor classroom will create a healthier environment for the children to learn in. They will be away from the florescent lights and technology in the classroom. They will be exposed to fresh air, outdoor learning activities, gardens, and trees. Lets change the way children learn to help the environment one generation at a time.

The purer the water you drink, the easier it is to permeate your body cells which results in your body being more hydrated. When the body is hydrated a multitude of bodily actions can be preformed; maintain body temp, immune system can fight viral infections more efficiently. Tap water however possesses a ton of chemicals to so call purify the water which doesnt hydrate the body effectively. Cholrine has been linked to destroying good bacteria in our body, drying out skin and hair and is a known carcinogenic due to the high levels in the water. So placing filter systems on every faucet taps will reduce the minerals and toxins and will attain a purity of 85%.
