If given 50,000 to implement my idea I would like to create a green bridge to join two grass lands together to promote animals to cross safely. Where there is urban construction like a hwy , have something like a green bridge connecting two grass lands when there is a road barrier. Too many animals are getting killed on the side of the road because of this issue.

If given 50,000 to implement my idea on how to make my campus more eco friendly I would encourage people to bring their own reusable container to put food in. I would implement a discount offered to encourage people to bring their own reusable recycled containers. I would also implement advertising around campus on this topic.

I think a great idea to reduce the amount of electricity consumption for dishwashers on university campuses can be to create an on site student body dishwasher. This team would encourage utensil cleaning, wash cups, plates as needed, etc. This would decrease the amount of waste.

One thing that really bothers me is when fast food restaurants give out plastic bags when the person didn't need or ask for one. Why not put 50,000 towards implementing a program where fast food restaurants receive reused recycled paper bags to have on the counter for people to take as they need.

I am finding that my universities courtyard lacks plants and needs to be utilized because its empty space. Why not put 50,000 to improve courtyard greenery around campuses around the city. This would also help oxygenate the air.

With 50,000 i would like to build a green oil rig (replica), Drill for oil. I would Build it in a university as a demo against conventional drilling. This would bring awareness to move against conventional drilling.

Being a part of the environmental studies department we need to practice making sure everything is off - electricity. I notice that many buildings have lights on during the night in spaces where people would not be around such as offices. Why not put 50,000 towards a system that will automatically shut off the lights at a certain time everyday to conserve energy.

I would like to see rooftop spaces utilized. Why not implement community garden rooftops around the city. On the garden rooftops crops can be grown and harvested for the residents.

If given 50,000 to implement my idea I would like to have plants that filter out the air inside exam rooms. I find it very difficult to concentrate and gather my ideas when i am completing an exam. I find that the air is stale and my brain tends to turn off. Why not put plants in all exam rooms to filter out the air.

If given 50,000 to implement my idea I would like to put indoor plants in indoor settings. Plants are excellent sources for oxygenating the air. In universities there are many students that spend countless hours studying for exams, writing papers, and organizing presentations. The indoor plants would be beneficial for students cognitive process when completing school work indoors. This plan would also promote green space indoors.

If given 50,000 to implement my idea I would put that money towards solar energy. I am in my fourth year of environmental studies and I have researched the benefits of solar energy on the environment. At York University we have huge windows that attract a lot of light, why not utilize these windows to create something solar powered such as plug in stations for students.

If given 50,000 to implement my idea i would like to see all exams and testing completed online. I notice that some of my courses don't have the online computer system to allow online testing. So i would put 50,000 towards many courses to allow electronic testing online. This would help eliminate paper waste.
