I would like to see herbal gardens located throughout Toronto. By having these herbal gardens, people can be exposed to more natural remedies of healing for many purposes.

Every employer should allow their workers to telecommute if many of them or a group of them happen to live in the same areas. This is very eco-friendly and reduces Co2 Emissions!

Many people receive junk mail in their mailbox, most often associated to subscriptions they no longer use or have the use for and mail from companies that have them on their mailing list. If we cut down on our junk mail we could save a lot of trees in the process...

I would like to see disposable butt out containers being used for smokers. People wont stop smoking, but why not control the amount of pollution generated when butting out. Often times the grounds are filled with cigarette butts, by having a disposable container, people can dispose of their own butts properly.

I would use the money to inform people about the better alternative to lighters... Matches. Matches have been around forever and cause less ecological waste as opposed to lighters (butane, plastic, etc).

I would love to see workout machines powered by solar energy. Most machines are located in front of huge bay windows which attract the most natural sunlight.

Eliminate paper phonebooks. This is such an old service. Do we really still need these? Most directories are uplaoded online and addresses can be found within seconds online.

I would like to see green houses in high traffic parks such as High Park be developed. People from all over the city frequent this park for example because of its natural beauty. I would like to see a green house developed to grow local crops.

I would use $50,000 to help implement my idea of "conserving" waste and minimizing it. Before someone throws away something, they should think if it cold be used for a secondary purpose and/or if someone else could use it. MANY items (as menial as they may seem) can be used for another purpose.

We should completely ban the use of plastic bags. It's been forever that we know how harmful plastic bags are to the environment and we still use them. The gov't should completely ban them and incorporate biodegradable bags as the only option.

I would like to see vertical garden decors being implemented on commercial buildings on busy streets of Toronto, and residential buildings. We are lacking space for plants and landscaping in the downtown core, we have to be creative and design vertical gardens.
